Sudaka and Sadhita teaching. Padmashalin is our cook for this years' events.

Padmashalin has worked as a chef for more than 15 years and enjoys preparing meals that are both tasty and aesthetically pleasing. He sees it as an art form. For ten years he worked as the chef in Windhorse Trading based in Cambridge, UK. He has worked in other retreat centres both in the UK, Columbia, Venezuela and Spain. Now he works in Brighton running a 'pop up cafe' business cooking vegan and vegetarian food which helps to protect and sustain the environment.

Úna Higgins has been doing retreats with us for many years in Dhanakosa, Scotland. She did the 200 hour teacher training in 2015.Originally from Ireland, Una now lives in Greece and is a Social Work and Psychosocial Support Specialist in the Humanitarian field, focusing on unaccompanied refugee children. Over the past few years, she has become increasingly interested in healing trauma and distress through the body, and uses her BodhiYoga practice to influence her work with distressed children, and their families.

Anna Mehta  discovered yoga 25 years ago, when her mother took her to an Iyengar class. Over the years, her experience has deepened to include other forms of yoga and meditation. Anna trained with us in 2016 and combines small-group Mindful Yoga teaching with her work as a video editor - not always with perfect grace! - and is a volunteer cook at Dhanakosa retreat centre, Scotland.
