Our Yoga Retreats
Summer Yoga retreat
The “Call of the Forest” (13-19th July 2026) is a showcase of Bodhiyoga best practices and we present yoga through various modalities. Classical Hatha/Vinyasa, Remedial Yoga and Yin Yoga seemlessly exploring meditation and mindfulness throughout the day. We practice as much as we can “outdoors in the nature” enjoying the beautiful grounds of Suryavana Retreat Centre.
I want to “go back to basics” around Satipathana practice. Especially given we have some new students with us. Also I’d like to have a “get together” each afternoon at five to go into themes.

11.00 Workshop. Exploring Satipathanas
12.15 Break

Autumn Yoga retreat
“The Five Buddha Mandala” (24 – 30 October 2026), an exploration of yoga and Buddhist meditation practice through archetype and ritual, drawing out the qualities of each of the Five Buddhas and their consorts. Aksobya “Determination”, Ratbasambhava “generosity and abundance”, Amitabha “Love”, Amoghasiddhi “fearlessness” and Vairocana “Awakening”.
This retreat is open to all levels of practice for those who want to enter the richly imaginative and magical world of the Buddhist world. We practice yoga related to each of the principal energies of each Buddha and delve into the psychological and spiritual aspects of these qualities through simple reflections and rituals. We practice as much as we can “outdoors in the nature” enjoying the beautiful grounds of Suryavana Retreat Centre.
